Terms of use
The terms for using ArabicFix: free browser tools, your text and results, accuracy, guides, links, acceptable use and changes.
Using ArabicFix
ArabicFix is free to use, with no account. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Your text and your results
The tools process text in your browser; they do not upload it. Your text and the results you produce are yours, and you may use them for personal or commercial work. You are responsible for having the right to use the text you process.
Accuracy
Each tool applies the rules described on its page. Results can still be wrong for your purpose: a normalised spelling may not suit a quotation, a number in words may need adjusting to your document’s wording, and text repaired from a PDF may need proofreading. Check results before you rely on them, especially for legal, financial or official documents such as cheques and contracts.
Guides and other websites
Guides are general information, written carefully and dated. Other software changes, so a menu or setting may have moved since a guide was updated. Links to other websites are provided for reference; we do not control those sites.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to break the law or to infringe other people’s rights. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or get around its security.
Ownership and licences
The ArabicFix name, logo, design and guide texts belong to ArabicFix. Fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License, Unicode and CLDR data under the Unicode License, and the bundled libraries under their own licences, which are kept with the files.
Affiliate link and advertising
The Writing desk page contains one clearly labelled Amazon affiliate link. The privacy page explains it and the current advertising status.
No warranty
The site and tools are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for losses arising from the use of results you did not check.
