ARABICFIX / Help & contact
A clear path from text to result.
How to use ArabicFix, preserve originals, choose a counting method and export clean Arabic documents.
Start with a small example
Choose a tool from the index or type its name in Find a tool. Try an example to understand the input and result. Paste your own text only when you are ready. In Cleaner, the original remains in the first panel while selected transformations appear in Result. Reset switches the transformations off; Undo restores the previous editing step.
Choose the right operation
Use Cleaner for common marks, tatweel and spacing. Use Unicode normalization for NFC, NFD, NFKC or NFKD, with a code-point preview. Use Invisible diagnosis when text looks empty or jumps direction. Use Keyboard when English key positions were typed with the wrong layout. Transliteration is a separate convention; none of these tools translates meaning. If Arabic appears reversed or disconnected in another app, or text copied from a PDF reads backwards, use Reversed Arabic. The guides walk through common problems step by step.
Count what you mean
A grapheme is a displayed character cluster, such as a base letter with marks or a combined emoji. Unicode code points and UTF-16 units can give larger counts for the same text. The counter lets you choose explicitly. Word counts use browser segmentation or whitespace tokens, not Arabic morphological analysis. Reading time is an estimate based on your selected words per minute.
Copy, export or continue later
Use Copy or Download .txt for the exact result. For a typeset page, use the document export area. Clean proof has no logo; the optional ArabicFix report adds review context. The visual PDF preserves browser shaping at about 150 dpi but has no selectable text or accessibility tags. The HTML alternative embeds fonts and keeps text selectable. Browser print headers and footers are controlled in your print dialog. Download workspace saves a local project file for later import, including compatibility with earlier project versions.
Limits are shown beside each tool
Cleaner accepts up to 100,000 UTF-16 units. Visual documents accept up to 20,000 units and 40 PDF pages. Batch accepts up to 20 UTF-8 text files and 4 MB total input. Invalid files are skipped with reasons; other files continue. Shorten content or choose a plain data export when a preview limit is reached. Limits do not grant permission to silently discard your original.
Reading and keyboard access
Switch between Arabic and English in the header. Reading comfort lets you enlarge text to 150% or 200% and reduce motion; your browser zoom also remains available. Use Tab to move through controls and Enter or Space to activate them. On a phone, swipe the horizontal tool index or search for a tool. Direction previews affect display only, unless you explicitly select a transformation that changes stored characters.
Report an issue
Email kout@me.com with the tool name, your browser and a short invented input/output example. Do not send confidential files. For a data discrepancy, include the code point or locale and the source version shown beside the result.
